Happy Thanksgiving to all!
As we wrap up another Thanksgiving holiday, hopefully everyone is full of joy…and food!
Thinking about all the things we have to be thankful for, motherhood comes to mind. Motherhood is literally one of the hardest yet most fulfilling roles on this planet and if asked it would most certainly be at the top of my list of things that I’m grateful for.
Motherhood is one of those things that requires you to give so much of yourself but the reward is in the child or children that you raise. Who you raise these young men and women to be is a direct reflection of you. Granted they grow up and become their own person and we can’t always control the path that they take, but knowing who you raised them to be is still important because they will always remember the principles and values that you instill into them.
Motherhood pushes you. It pushes you to be great. Greater than who you were before you actually became a mother because life becomes more than just you and that is what builds your strength.
As mothers we feel this sense of accomplishment when have reached a milestone with our kids, pulled off something great for them, or just by being able to be there for the most important moments.
For any mother that may be feeling like they wish they could do and give more to their kids, but still know they are doing their very best, still be proud of yourself . Be proud of how far you have come.
Look at your kids and be proud of what you are doing with them. The impact you are making in their lives is something that is going to go far!
So as I return to my loved ones and end my Thanksgiving Day post I am grateful.
Grateful for love, life, my family and everything in between. Life has it’s ups and downs but it is STILL going!
Until Next Time
Peace & Blessings
