Okay…so if you’re just joining in take a moment to go back to Day One of the challenge here Day One Challenge
If you’re all caught up and have successfully completed day one, let’s talk about day two.
While we are focusing on the journey of self love we must take a moment to appreciate loving our own company.
Being at peace with yourself is an important part of your life. You spend the most time with you right? You should be able to say that you thoroughly enjoy being alone and that your happiness, though great when you can be with the ones you love, does not have to depend on a connection to someone else. You can be content in your own space, on your own time, just appreciating you.
So with that being said, when was the last time you took yourself out for a solo date?
When was the last time you took yourself out on a coffee date, just you…( or tea if that’s your preference).
A moment where you can sit in the corner of your favorite cozy coffee spot and order your favorite hot beverage and you just sit and think about what YOU need for the upcoming week ahead. Or what goals you would like to accomplish that will be for the sole benefit of you?

So there’s your day two challenge.
You are assigned to take yourself on a “coffee date” …alone, and focus on what tasks or acts of self service you can complete for the week that will amplify and pour into your focus on self love. If you’re reading this at night, a nice flavored tea like chamomile or peppermint is great for this challenge…helps you sleep better.
And the great thing about this day of the challenge is the loophole…you’re allowed to stay IN on this date. If going out at the moment is not an option( though it is encouraged) you can simply stay in and make yourself a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate…something hot.
Why hot?
This is because a hot beverage is something that has to be sipped and not rushed. You will have to take your time to finish it and this is the perfect time to sit and reflect.
So if you’re choosing to stay in the house for your solo date, find a different part of your home that you can have this time.
If you’re normally a bedroom bum (like I am) maybe go have your date at your breakfast bar, or on the couch by the window you rarely ever sit on. Maybe your front porch or deck is doable. Wherever you go just make sure it’s a place in your home that you rarely ever spend time at so that new energies can be brought about.
Bloggers: As a day 2 challenge blog prompt, your challenge consists of doing the same solo date but while on your date you should take this time to write a blog about how beneficial a solo date could be.
Give your readers some fun insight about dating themselves and to make this even easier you could make it a “Top 5 Reasons Why…”list.
Sounds simple enough right?
